With over 7,500 members, Local 25 has organized, fought, and won life-changing contracts for hospitality workers. The workers represented by our union have used their collective power to win some of the best union contracts for hotel workers in the world, and to be on the frontlines of fighting for democracy and justice in the nation’s capital.
In recent years, workers have been building the union throughout Virginia. Along with UNITE HERE Local 23, workers in Virginia have organized and fought for more in casinos, hotels, and university cafeterias, growing UNITE HERE’s membership from 8,000 to 12,000 in the past five years.
